For the second time, Bitcom took part in the large-scale Startup Day event - THE MOST STARTUP-MINDED BUSINESS FESTIVAL, which is held in a hybrid format - online and offline (Estonia, Tartu). The aim of the event is to connect like-minded people and celebrate entrepreneurship in the smart city of Tartu. Previous time we were delighted with so many participants in the event! Therefore, without thinking for a long time, we bought a ticket for the next event. Mostly, the participants are companies from Estonia. These are visitors, startups, investors, and executives. And the very fact that Estonia has such a large number of interesting and progressive startups also delighted us. The conference aims to unite companies with common goals.
In 2022, sTARTUp Day took place for the sixth time, bringing together over 180 world-class speakers, 319 startups, 140 investors, and 3900 attendees from 52 different countries all over the world. It’s a community-organized festival, organized by the city of Tartu, University of Tartu, Tartu Science Park, Contriber, Tartu Biotechnology Park, Tartu Business Advisory Services, Tartu Centre for Creative Industries, Fractory, and Swedbank.
sTARTUp Day 2022 was a three-day business festival with a marvelous stage program, effective matchmaking, hands-on seminars, a demo area full of innovation, and vibrant side events. The inspirational-educational program consisted of various topics – from mental health to space tech, founder stories to aviation, and deeptech to the creative economy.
sTARTUp Day is a festival where business is combined with celebration, entrepreneurship, and good vibes – that's how great ideas are born. At sTARTUp Day we met fantastic and promising startups. It is one of the most interesting and exciting events that we’ve taken part in. We hope to go there physically next year and feel this spirit in life!
